Apparently, opening a shop/launching a new business is not as easy as one would imagine. Shocker!

It’s a journey full of hurdles, pitfalls and blind bends, but at least it’s a journey, hey?!

So, you know when you get that vision of what it is you’re meant to be doing, and you just know you’ve put your finger on the (right) button, and all the stars align, and all that jazz? Yes? Well that’s what happened to us when we set out on our pod journey. We know that we and so many others love shopping, we know where we want to take this wonderful vision, and we know with a little touch of magic and a lot of hard work we can make it a reality for us and you. So we’ve taken a leap of faith and signed for a great little shop in our gorgeous home town of Harrogate.

It’s perfect. It’s not too big, it’s discreet for those of us who don’t want to be seen spending our hard earned pennies by the entire world, but it’s also enough on the path that you’ll find us without having to look too hard. It’s in a beautiful Victorian property in the centre of Harrogate, with brilliant large windows for oodles of natural light (essential when trying on so you know what you’re buying!) and it is surrounded by other fabulous retailers and restaurants, all of whom add to the charm and experience of visiting us and Harrogate.

So why aren’t we in there yet showcasing all our amazing pre-owned designer collections? Well it’s taking a little longer than we had hoped to finalise the lease and get those keys. We are pushing for it every day, chasing solicitors, choosing carpets, picking out rails (my gosh, who knew there were so many rails options to choose from?!) and collecting more beautiful stock, and are just waiting for a date when we can finally shout about it and let you all know exactly where it is. We promise, we are foot on the pedal trying to pick up that speed! And as soon as we know it’s 100% ours, you will too! Hang on in there with us!

In the meantime we are using our time and your feedback to perfect our services, after all that is what we believe shopping should be about. We’re not here to just show you our newest handbag or dress that has arrived, wrap it for you and send you on your way. We are here to make shopping or selling your items an experience that you will enjoy and remember. We want to get to know you, we want to have a drink with you, and we want to make you feel amazing. That’s why we are taking thepod out and about, bringing our luxury designer pieces to your home, sharing them with you and your friends and creating a buzz around our incredible handpicked collections.

So we want you to come along on our journey, experience shopping the way it should be, and get to know us and what we are about. Keep pestering us for our shop launch date, keep messaging us asking what we have coming in, and keep sending us your ideas of what other services you would like us to provide. We love reading your questions and thoughts, and we are using this shop-free time to put all your suggestions into our grand plan, and ultimately provide you with a fun and luxurious shopping adventure every time our paths cross.

Just bear with us whilst we get our Harrogate base opened, and if you see us, remind us that Rome wasn’t built in a day!
